5 Stitches
So the other day Todd was running around while I was feeding Lily and he tripped and hit his head on the corner of the stereo. I knew it was going to be bad but I didn't know there would be blood. I soon realized that he would probably need stitches so I dropped Lily off with a friend(thanks Chiye!) and took him to the ER. They ended up needing to strap him down (for those of you parents who don't know what a papoose board is I hope you never have to find out!) and they gave him 5 stitches. I did really well during the whole procedure except when they had to dig down deep to straighten the layers of skin before they stitched him up. It was a little too much for me. We are all doing fine now and he got his stitches out on Monday. The doctor said there wouldn't be much of a scar. I'm just glad it wasn't any worse than it was and I'm glad they were able to stitch him up so well. I guess this might just be the beginning of having a busy little boy!

A Visit From my Sister
My sister, Rebecca, was so nice and came out for a visit with her son Eric. She wanted to come see baby Lily before she has her baby girl who is due in February. We didn't get a picture of the two of us because, like me, she doesn't like to be in pictures when she is pregnant. But here are some pictures of Eric and the kids.

Albuquerque
Carson had an interview at the Albuquerque AEGD program so we decided to make a family trip out of it. The kids did really well on the 9 hour drive each way. We actually both really liked Albuquerque so maybe we'll end up there next year...who knows. Since Todd's favorite thing in the whole world is balloons (he said balloon before he said mama and dada) we couldn't pass up going to the Albuquerque balloon museum. This is what we heard the whole time were there:

We decided to drive around the town a little bit and we ended up driving right by the temple. I've actually never been to one of the smaller temples. I thought it was cute because it was so mini!

Todd loved this part of the museum. You could push a button and make the balloons go up.

Albuquerque also has our favorite BBQ place, Rudy's. We actually missed the turn to the hotel because we were so distracted by the excitement of seeing Rudy's. I won't tell you how many times we ate there but I will tell you it was really good! Mmmmmm.....
Trunk or Treat
Our ward had their annual trunk or treat. I made some really good chili, but they decided not to do the contest. Bummer! I think I might have won...I guess we'll never know. Todd had a lot of fun collecting candy. We had a little bit of trouble getting his costume on but once we did he seemed to like it. Lily was a really cozy in her chicken outfit. Maybe next year Carson and I will dress up.

The latest from the Wagstaffs
This post is long overdue, but Amanda wanted me to write a farewell post about our cats. The cats formerly known as Sugar and Spice (they now go by Regina and Roxy) have moved to the great state of California. They are in the care of Eric and Madeline, Amanda’s cousin. We do miss them, but it has been very nice to be able to sleep without them pawing at the bedroom door. We are very happy to have found such a good home for them; it couldn’t have worked out any better.

In other news, the kiddos are both doing great. Todd cracks me up with all the random stuff he does (see pictures) and little Lily has turned into quite the talker. I’ll try and post a video soon, but for now I’ll just post this picture of our little peanut.
